Brainwave entrainment meditation

Recommended Isochronic Tone
Meditation Recordings

Listening to a brainwave entrainment recording can make it easier to relax and quieten the mind when meditating. I like using the theta and alpha isochronic meditation recordings from The Unexplainable Store. Alpha is best for light meditation, and theta for entering a deep state of trance. I personally prefer the versions without bells and music, but you can preview all the tracks to see which you like best.

Tired of Living Below Your Potential?  Isochronic Tones Can Help You To Experience All That Life Has To Offer

Do you feel stuck in a rut, and know there's so much more you could do and be if you had the chance? Or maybe you're basically happy, but still not feeling totally fulfilled? You're not alone - humans everywhere are plagued with these feelings. The important thing is not to let it drain your spirit, because you don't have to tolerate living like this.

So Much Is Possible

Despite what the media would have you believe, we live in an incredibly abundant world with myriad opportunities for pleasure and fulfillment. And while only a relatively small number of people live a life of happiness and success (however they define it), that doesn't mean you can't join them. Because you can!

So, how do you break the cycle of restriction and lack, and enter the cycle of prosperity, bliss and empowerment? The simple answer is that you can turn things around by visualising, and taking constant inspired action in the direction of your goal.  The formula is simple: Visualization + Inspired Action = Manifestation.. Maybe you're familiar with visualization and goal setting, and have tried it before. But are you doing it consistently? Chances are, the honest answer is 'no'. Maybe it didn't work as you'd hoped and you don't want to be disappointed again?

If the reason you're not putting this simple process into practice is because you tried it before and you didn't manifest what you wanted, read on, because isochronic tones can help (don't worry if you don't know what they are - they're explained below).

Sound Waves Can Change The Frequency Of Your
Brain Waves, Shifting Your State Of Consciousness

To visualize effectively, you need to enter the right state of mind, in which your brain waves are slower than in normal waking consciousness. 'Brainwave entrainment' recordings can directly influence your brain frequencies and rapidly take you into the desired alpha, theta, or delta state - while you stay conscious.  Three effective brainwave entrainment technologies are normally used: binaural beats, monaural beats, and isochronic tones.

What's the difference? Basically, binaurals play two tones of different frequencies - one in each ear. The brain balances the two and resonates with the frequency difference. By selecting a recording that uses the appropriate frequencies, you can choose exactly which frequency your brain waves will synchronize with, thus controlling your state of consciousness with great accuracy. Monaural beats are also created by combining two tones of different frequencies, except in this case they're combined before reaching the ear, rather than inside the head. Isochronic tones differ in that they feature a single-frequency tone that switches on and off very quickly, creating distinctly spaced pulses of equal intensity. These are also played directly into the ear, and don't rely on the brain to produce the correct sound. Their pulsing sound achieves the same effect as binaural beats however, helping your brain to adjust to the frequency in question.Read more about how isochronic tones and other brainwave entrainment methods work here.

Isochronic Tones Are The Most Effective

Binaural and monaural beats are excellent technologies for changing your state of consciousness, but isochronic tones are more powerful still. Many people have found isochronic tone recordings to be more effective than the more old-fashioned binaural beats when it comes to meditation and visualisation. This may be because the brain entrains more easily to the very distinct, clearly separated sound pulses of isochronic tones. Unlike binaural beats, you can also use isochronics with or without headphones, which makes them more convenient and accessible for many people. Take a look at the video below to see how isochronic tones differ from binaural and monaural beats:

Isochronic tones can make the whole visualisation and manifestation process much more exciting and effective. They open up a whole new inner world, giving easier access to the subconscious mind, allowing you to program your desires and intentions efficiently, without the doubts and limiting beliefs of the conscious mind getting in the way. It's hard to describe how empowering it can be to really tap into the creative potential of your mind - trying out an isochronic recording for yourself is the best way to find out, as nothing beats first-hand experience.

Just remember that while isochronic tones can be very powerful, they aren't a magic 'quick fix', and for best results you should commit to using your recording regularly. As with anything else, you'll get a better outcome with consistent practice!

You Don't Have To Stop Here... Visualization Is Just The Beginning

Once you start tapping into your mind's true power with the aid of brainwave entrainment, you may feel led to explore other aspects of your awesome potential. Want to awaken your spiritual senses and psychic abilities like ESP and remote viewing? Fancy journeying out of your body via astral projection, or gaining insight into your past lives? Isochronic tones and the other methods of brainwave entrainment can help to tune your brain into the trance states needed to access these states and abilities. They can also help with more everyday matters such as sleeping problems, anxiety and other issues.

I personally like to use these alpha and theta meditation recordings - I find them to be very versatile, and can use the meditative states they help me to reach for a variety of purposes. I've also used and enjoyed the sleep, lucid dreaming, hypnosis and relaxation recordings that are linked to in the sidebar at the left. However, you can also get isochronic recordings that are more specifically tailored to various uses. You'll find links to many of these just below. Note that I haven't tried all these myself, so I'm not making a personal endorsement of them. In fact, I'm a little sceptical of how the brain frequencies connected with some of these abilities and states can be isolated with such precision. However, other people have had good results, and they're all guaranteed for eight weeks, so if you're curious you can try them without financial risk. This table is actually a bit out of date now, since more recordings have since been added to the range - click here to see them all.

Isochronic Tone Categories:

Anyone looking for isochronic tones, binaural beats and other brainwave entrainment recordings online will have to learn to sort the wheat from the chaff, because there's a lot of mediocre stuff out there. I've found The Unexplainable Store to be a good site to deal with, having bought a number of their tracks, and they guarantee all products for eight weeks, so you can see if they work for you. Unlike most other sites, they offer all their recordings in a choice of three formats - binaural, monaural and isochronic (both as CDs and downloads). Isochronic recordings still aren't as common as binaural beats, as this is relatively new technology, and not many people are familiar with them yet. So if you're interested in finding out firsthand what isochronic tones can do for you, check out the range over at The Unexplainable Store now - you can even try them for free!
